World Smallest windows 8 tab launched by Acer only @ Rs 27,999

Acer India launched its Iconia W3 in India, the world's smallest tablet running on Microsoft's latest OS. Apart from that, the Taiwanese manufacturer Also launched the Aspire P3 ultrabook and Aspire R7 touch-and-type laptop.

Talking of specifications, the W3 tablet is the world’s first 8-inch Windows 8 tablet that was unveiled at the Computex earlier this month. It is 11mm thick, weighs in at 500 grams and features an 8.1-inch LCD (1280×800 pixels) display. The tablet runs on Windows 8 and is powered by Intel Atom Z2760 Clover Trail chipset and comes with a 2-megapixel camera on front as well as on rear, support for micro-HDMI and micro-USB ports for better connectivity and a battery with a battery life of 8 hours. Acer is offering the W3 tablet for Rs 27,999 along with an optional full-sized keyboard using it as a notebook and pre-loaded Microsoft Office.
