“Ye Akashvani hai“, the word you may have heard when you first tuned Radio is coming very close to you. The Govt run national radio network All India Radio (AIR) is launching an Android application and Youtube Channel for its AIR news service.Its totally amazing to hear air now on
Android and youtube..

• AIR News Android app brings News stories from the AIR News network in India.
•  It brings in both National and Regional news stories in text and audio format.
• AIR is also developing special news based programmes for the Android applications.
•  It has audio feed which include Samachar Prabhat (Morning News), Dopahar Samachar(Mid-Day News), Samachaar Sandhya (Newsat Nine) and Hourly bulletins in Hindi, English and Urdu languages.

In addition to the AIR News Android app and Youtube Channel, AIR has also launched live streaming of AIR Urdu Service and FM Gold. The live streaming of these two channels will be available on the AIR website (www.allindiaradio.org and www.allindiaradio.gov.in) 24/7 and anywhere across the world.
